We place a great deal of emphasis on this ideal which was originally set forth by our founder in 1967.  Hydro requires continuous technical and safety training for our service and production personnel as well as certifications in techniques applicable to fabrication, installation, or other tasks essential to our operation.

Hydro's Regeneration Facility

The resins contained in Hydro's tanks are regenerated with the highest quality chemicals and procedures available today. All of our tanks are labeled with dating that identifies the batch in which resins were generated. Each batch is tested in our laboratory to guarantee that it meets strict purity and resistivity specifications. Labeling enables our QC personnel to reference the resin's performance before it reaches our valued customers. This check ensures that only the highest quality resin tank arrive at your facility.

 

Water Quality Testing

Ultrapure water systems are not created equal. Product water quality can be influenced by many factors - feed water quality, system process design, equipment selection, materials of construction, and operation and maintenance practices. With suitable mixed-bed deionizers, it is relatively easy to produce 18 megohm water quality; however, control of other contaminants such as particles, organics, bacteria, and pyrogens can be difficult. The tendency to rely strictly on simple and often inaccurate resistivity monitors can have serious consequences to your research. Routine monitoring of water quality is essential for validating system performance.

Since 1967, Hydro has provided quality ultrapure water systems to meet precise water quality requirements for critical applications. Hydro is now proud to offer professional on-site water quality testing services to validate the performance of your ultrapure water system. Our test instruments are routinely calibrated to NIST standards, and test methods comply with procedures established by standards setting organizations - NCCLS, CAP, USP, and ASTM. Customers are provided with complete documentations of procedures and results of testing.
