Ultrapure water systems are not created equal. Product water
quality can be influenced by many factors - feed water
quality, system process design, equipment selection,
materials of construction, and operation and maintenance
practices. With suitable mixed-bed deionizers, it is
relatively easy to produce 18 megohm water quality; however,
control of other contaminants such as particles, organics,
bacteria, and pyrogens can be difficult. The tendency to
rely strictly on simple and often inaccurate resistivity
monitors can have serious consequences to your research.
Routine monitoring of water quality is essential for
validating system performance.Since 1967, Hydro has

calibrated to NIST standards, and test methods comply with
