Description

The Picosystem® UV Plus combines 185 nm UV (ultraviolet) technology in the UV Plus Pump Station with the quality performance of Hydro’s basic point-of-use (POU) water purification system to produce low TOC, ASTM and CAP Type 1 Reagent Grade Water for analytical laboratory applications requiring <5 ppb TOC. The Picosystem® components include one organic adsorber containing highly activated carbon media for chlorine/chloramine removal and TOC reduction, one primary and one polishing mixed-bed deionizer containing pharma-grade cation/anion resins, a service indicator light and polyethylene interconnecting tubing. Recirculation allows for the addition of a resistivity monitor if desired. Hydro manufactures a selection of Picotap® faucets made of UHMW virgin polypropylene and polyethylene to complement the Picosystem’s® quality.
