Description

The Picosystem® is Hydro’s basic point-of-use (POU) water purification system that produces ASTM and CAP Type 1 Reagent Grade Water for basic analytical laboratory applications. The Picosystem® is also the chassis for eight additional POU systems that produce varying higher qualities for more critical applications. The system components include one organic adsorber containing highly activated carbon media for chlorine/chloramine removal and TOC reduction, one primary and one polishing mixed-bed deionizer containing pharma-grade cation/anion resins, a service indicator light and polyethylene interconnecting tubing. Hydro manufactures a selection of Picotap® faucets made of UHMW virgin polypropylene and polyethylene to complement the Picosystem’s® quality.
