Hydro is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for reverse osmosis (RO) systems. RO is suitable for a variety of applications and manufacturing processes and commonly used as pretreatment for other downstream purification components. RO extends the capacity of service deionization by as much as ten times. Hydro’s RO systems consist of self-contained cabinets and small open frame units for lighter production, and skidded units for heavier production. Systems are custom fabricated and equipped with instrumentation to monitor water quality, membrane efficiency, flows and pressures. Membrane selection is based upon production needs and feed water quality. Systems are available with production rates from 0.5 to over 500 GPM with average salt rejections up to 99%.
